Educational Qualification
Candidates must have an M.Sc. or M.Tech. degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemical Engineering, or a closely related field from a recognized university/institute. Additionally, they must possess a qualified certificate of the GATE examination or the DBT-BET category-II examination.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is 28 years as of 25 March 2026. Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PH, and women candidates as per the Government of India rules.

Indian Citizen.
Other Requirements
Candidates are encouraged to enroll in the PhD program at MNNIT Allahabad. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
